Reach Co-op went on our first field trip last Wednesday. First stop was the Art Museum where we weren't allowed to take other pictures. But we did enjoy looking at some neat art. |
Then we went to the Rutledge-Wilson farm where we had a short class on the life cycles of a chicken and a cow. |
We got to meet the animals. |
And feed them. |
nom nom nom. These cows are used to being fed. They came running when they saw us. They are very friendly. |
They had chickens and turkeys and goats and sheep. |
And the most adorable little mini horses! |
And not-so-mini pumpkins! We had a great time out on the farm despite the cold weather. |
The co-op has been enjoying the beautiful weather as much as possible. We did chapel outside today. |
Even though some of us were a little tired. |
Art class got to work with watercolors today. We painted fish. |
Science class learned about the importance of depth perception. |
And also learned how water molecules can move around as color bleeds. |
Cooking/Nutrition class tried to cook marshmallows in a solar oven. |
They met with limited success. |
Learning about footprints in science. |
